For over 60 years, Oak Tree Mountain has offered a place for families to have fun and make life-long memories. Built from the humblest of beginnings. What started as a small apple shed which evolved into mile-high Apple Pies and home-made Apple Cider. 60 years later, we’ve grown into a 14-acre family fun park.

Enjoy a fresh-baked 5lb mile-high apple pie and other goodies from Apple Annie’s Bakery, eat a hand-dipped Caramel Apple at our Candy Store, pet the animals in the petting zoo and visit the local shops and artisans.

Less than an hour and a half from Downtown LA, Oak Tree Mountain is nestled a mile-high in the hills of Oak Glen, where it is cooler in the summer and has enough snow to make snowmen and sled in the winter. The mile-high Oak Tree Mountain was created for folks to come and enjoy a simpler way of life, surrounded by the fresh crisp air and partake in the beautiful change of seasons year-round. Oak Tree Mountain has been the best-kept secret for many families to enjoy year after year.

Our recent decision to enclose the park was not made lightly. Over the past twelve months we have experienced vandalism, and after-hours intrusions that put our animals at risk. If that wasn’t bad enough, we were recently sued by one of those intruders. Our insurer made it clear, if we don’t enclose the park we would lose our liability insurance. Sadly, not qualifying for insurance would force us to close the park entirely.
Knowing we had no choice, we set out to offer a better experience at a better value. The general admission now includes our animal park, new bird aviary, playground, inspirational forest, several new photo ops, axe throwing, free face painting, free balloon animals, live music, nature trail, and special visits from Eddie the Yeti. For most families, this amounts to over $30 per person savings compared to previous years when these activities were priced separately.
We hope you come and enjoy the new enclosed park features. And know that we are adding new attractions all the time. Plus keep an eye out for the Butterfly Aviary and All-New Mountain Train in 2026.
